What I’m Working On Right Now

Well, hasn’t 2020 been quite the year?
I’ll admit that it took my writing off track for several months.
Other than that, though, my family and I have been very fortunate. We’re healthy and have come through the COVID19 pandemic fairly well.
I’m glad that things have settled down enough for me to write again, though.
I’ve always wanted to start a Christmas cozy mystery series, adding a new title or two each year. And I decided this is the year - because writing festive stories makes me happy and I think we should all be choosing happy this year!
The idea for Christmas Corpse, the first book in my Christmas Cozy Mystery series, came to me pretty quick.
I sat down and wrote 20,000 words for it on a week when I was off work and should have been in Venice - lockdown stopped that happening 😊
This is a really fun and magical book set in a true winter wonderland and starring Mrs Claus and her son, Nick… who may or may not be Santa - you’ll have to read it to find out!
Christmas Corpse launches on 3 December 2020, and the second book (Slay Bells Ring) is already up for pre-order too.
